About the center for traditional African carrying

A subsidiary of multi-award-winning Joy and Joe baby slings, the Center for Traditional African Carrying seeks to empower families with the age-old African wisdom that it truly takes a village to raise a child.
We set up our courses in response to the desire for a learning center for all things African carrying where babywearing educators, midwives, nurses, babywearing familes and anyone ethusiastic about babywearing can learn about the authentic way to carry, nurture and bond with your child the ancestral African way.
